I went to a cooking demonstration/class at Marston's in Valencia last night. IT was a great time, with great food, and fun people. I'm going to do this again!

We had our granite counter-tops installed today. They are lovely, & I think Jennifer is very happy with them. That makes me happy, too.

The Paper Cup Challenge! Students had to design & test six paper cups. Then they had to test them to see if they held water & for how long. Messy, but fun.

I got a new student today, a young lady from Angola who only speaks Portuguese. I was at a loss as to what to do, until I remembered that Google Translate has an audio function that lets you speak into the tablet and then it translates in print, and voice!
