Not a photo, but very funny.
In the fall of 1996, Tina Brown, who was the editor of The New Yorker at the time, assigned Mark Singer to profile Donald Trump for the magazine. Trump was a real-estate tycoon and popular author whose outrageous pronouncements appeared frequently in local tabloids. Trump, Singer wrote, “had aspired to and achieved the ultimate luxury: an existence unmolested by the rumbling of a soul.” He didn’t take kindly to the article about himself. Singer told the story of what happened next on stage at a Moth event in 2009.
